Server crashes me when i join

Gimme some help on why ther server crashes my game when i join.
when it gets to sending client info the game crashes me to the desktop.
Can you maybe optimize it for windows XP machines?

While gmod is running,

Open Task Manager and goto processes, and find hl2.exe

Right Click on it, and goto Set Priority and select 'High'.

If that dosent work, We are released a new update that has lots of performance increases and should fix the crashing problem our clients our having.
It will be applyed tommrow morning.
